Ranch Grounds and Facilities
Bruce Spruce Ranch has a lot to offer guests:
- Hot showers are centrally located on the ranch grounds in clean, individual stalls with a private dressing area. (Cabins have half baths with cold running water). Please bring your own towels, shampoo and soap.
- Two stocked trout ponds, so fishing can begin right out your front door! One pond is catch and keep, while the other is catch and release for fly fishing only. (A permit purchased at the Bruce Spruce Ranch office is required)
- Campfires: each cabin and tent site has its own campfire ring, and some RV sites do as well. There is a ring in the center of Cabin Circle available to everyone, and there are portable fire pits available upon request.
- Charcoal barbecue grills are located at every cabin and there is a grate on the fire ring in the tent area. Faris House cabin has a gas grill.
- Horseshoe pits are free for all guests and located in the RV Park, Cabin Circle, or at Faris House.
- Playground
- Laundry Facility: 2 washers, 2 dryers and a clothesline are available. $2 wash, $2 dry and 75 cents for soap. Please note: washers and dryers are used first for ranch bedding, then available to guests.
- Wood is available for campfires or heat. Bundles of wood may be purchased. Cabin guests can also chop wood from the pile located near the lodge for free (ax available). RV and tenting guests pay for amount of wood chopped up to $25 for a full cart.
- WiFi is available via Starlink. Cell service can be spotty, so WiFi calling can be used if cell phones won’t work with the service that you have.
- The ranch is at an elevation of 8200 feet.

Office/Lodge:
- Ice, propane, wood and Bruce Spruce t-shirts and hats are available for purchase.
- Guests can borrow books, puzzles and cards.
- Staff are available during the day to assist guests and answer questions.
