Horseback Riding

Horseback riding Elk Heart Outfitters, LLC is on the property ready to offer you a horseback ride. They leave from Bruce Spruce Ranch and do scenic rides in the San Juan National Forest that borders us.

Oftentimes deer and elk are seen and some lucky horseback riders get to see bears.

Within a half mile from our camp you can get on your horse and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing time. It’s a great way to take a break from everyday life with all the hustle and bustle we have these days and enjoy a worry-free ride! horse and trail rides

1 hour, 2 hour and half day rides available
Children must be 7 or older
No doubling is allowed

There are even wagon rides available for 4-10 riders.
